Steve has been a leader in the social change arena for more than two decades. He founded and ran Live Green, a social enterprise focused on building a new, thriving green economy. Steve also held senior positions at AARP, directed campaign offices for the Sierra Club and the state PIRGs, coordinated an environmental petition drive which generated 1.2 million physical signatures, and helped to bring about the passage of several environmental, good government, and health policies. In 2001, Asianweek named Steve their Asian American of the Year for his innovative work to reduce the influence of big money in politics.

Eli has a decade of experience building social enterprises and developing market-based revenue streams to sustain non-profit organizations. In 2006, Eli co-founded Transterra Media and served as its Managing Director for eight years, building a successful media marketplace that allowed locally-produced narratives to disrupt the way the world news is told in broadcast and print media. As a consultant in the non-profit and private sectors, Eli’s roles have ranged from helping to develop an automated test of Arabic language based on speech recognition technology (Pearson Knowledge Technologies) to leading a refugee resettlement program for FEGS Health and Human services in New York.
